What was the situation like before?
I’m a member of the worship team at Bethel Austin. I’ve been doing a bunch of stock market trading the last three weeks or so. I now do this for a living, it’s my job and income for my family.
I got in a trade last week on Tuesday afternoon and it went down so I continued to monitor my stock, and the price started to take a nose dive.
I was really contemplating selling because I was down about 10% or so. There was a market news coming about inflation this morning (Nov 9), it didn’t sound like it was going to be good, but nobody knew for sure yet. I was thinking about selling to get out of my loss before I took an even larger loss.
I felt like I should sell and my wife and I had talked about and we agreed to sell and get out of this thing tonight.
What did God do?
Then on my way to church for the Kingdom Foundations Conference I felt in the spirit to not sell but to hold on to the trade. I heard, “hang in there, hold on to the trade. It’s going to go your way.”
I texted my wife and she said, yeah, I’m feeling from Holy Spirit the same thing as I’ve been praying and so we held on to the trade instead of selling. And then this morning Thursday, Nov 10, I got up early, the inflation data came in pre-market before 8:30 and the whole market just went bananas because the inflation data actually dropped for the first time in months just a small amount. My trade soared. I don’t know exactly how much, but I think it was over 15%. I ended up turning a 10% loss into a 5% gain.
What is the situation like now?
It was a lot of money, we’ll say riding on that trade, so, that’s good. Praise God for his goodness, we listened and got blessed big time. Thank you Holy Spirit!
