Fresh Encounters With Jesus
The pursuit is on, and God is doing the pursuing. He wants to overtake us. The Bible tells us that man prepares the horses for the day of battle, but it's the Lord who wins the war. This season has been a fight where we're in a different kind of war and a different kind of fight, but we're still in the fight. For those of us feeling a bit tired in this season, know that God is speaking to us. And he's saying, “hey, you've done a good job fighting. Now I'm asking you to be still and know that I am God.” And sometimes in order to receive, we have to stop what we're doing and be still. That’s where His thick, honey Presence steps in. The thick, rich presence of His love, His reality.
