What was the situation like before?
Dawn and Holly are members of Bethel Austin that live in Burnet, Texas and they are friends with many churches in their small town. The pastor’s wife from the First Baptist church of Burnet called Dawn and invited her to a prayer meeting at 10am on Saturday morning. The wife said that her husband has shingles on his brain stem and he is not able to open his eyes or function anymore. He was taken to the hospital and was sent home because the doctors stated that they could do nothing more for him. Dawn said that in her prayer time the Lord said to get up and go to the prayer meeting and He told her that He wanted her to go with resurrection power to the church. Dawn was at her business, a local boutique, and she called Holly to go with her. She closed the boutique and put a sign in the door window that said closed for prayer for one hour. When they arrived, they decided to sit in the back of the church. The pastor and his wife were at the altar and people would stand up and individually pray for the pastor. Dawn and Holly decided to go up front and have communion with them. It felt like the people in the church were mourning over the pastor but he was alive. Dawn heard the Lord say that He is going to bring revival in this place.
What did God do?
After taking communion, the pastor still could not see. They then told the pastor that they were going to pray over him and he agreed. Both Dawn and Holly began to pray and they felt the Presence of The Lord and began to shake. They started praying out loud in tongues and in The Spirit in this Baptist church in front of everyone.
What is the situation like now?
God showed up and the Pastor started saying that he felt it and received it. As soon as they finished praying, the pastor started wiping his eyes and he said,” I can see!” As they were leaving, an elderly lady was sobbing and said, “This is a miracle!”
The people in the church began saying that a miracle just happened. Holly replied, “We see miracles everyday in our ministry.”
