Grow Deeper. Get Equipped.

At Bethel Austin, it is our passion to equip believers to live a supernatural lifestyle and activate everyone to do ministry. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of classes — Equip, Activate and Elements — that are taught by different teachers and are designed to help you grow in different spheres of your walk with God.

These classes range from four to twelve weeks long with meeting times on either Tuesday nights or before service on Saturdays. Please refer to each specific class for length and day.

All classes are held at 7901 E Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78744, and registration is required to attend.

Healing 101with Ben Wait and others

Do you want to see a greater release of the miraculous in your life, your family, your community, and your city? In When Heaven Invades Earth, Bill Johnson says, “It is abnormal for a Christian not to have an appetite for the impossible. It has been written into our spiritual DNA to hunger for the impossibilities around us to bow at the name of Jesus.” This class will stir your faith to believe for the impossible, teach you how to partner with the Holy Spirit to release healing, and equip you with practical aspects of praying for people.

3-week class meets on Tuesdays: February 8, February 15, February 22
Time: 7-9 p.m.

The Power of Prayerwith Lisa van den Berg and Jane Wallace-Bradley

Imagine going through your day in constant communication with the One who adores you; the One who knows each situation you’ll be in and how to deal with it best. Prayer is a mighty tool that connects us and others to God. Whether it’s intercession or laying hands on people for healing, your prayers can bring heaven to earth! Join us for class if you’re hungry for a relationship with God where you hear Him clearly and experience how the “prayers of a righteous person avail much” (James 5:16). Learn how the power of prayer can come alive in your life so God will be glorified through you.

Communication is the lifeblood of every relationship, and if it’s unhealthy, it can open the door for disconnection, create distance between people, and potentially destroy the culture of any organization. From unpacking the question “What is communication?” to diving into how it affects every area of your life — family, work, ministry — this class will equip you with a greater understanding of communication styles/strategies and the right tools to be a better communicator.

1 Thessalonians: Hearts Turned Towards Heavenwith Shane Harris and Jenessa Wait

In the shadow of Mount Olympus, there was a group of powerful people who were greatly touched by the gospel in a way that caused them to turn away from false gods like Zeus and Aphrodite. Under great adversity, their lives became a reflection of the beauty and power of heaven. Join us as we step back in time to what is now modern-day Greece and engage in 1 Thessalonians to examine what it looks like to carry heaven in our generation. In this class, learn principles that will grow the culture of heaven in your heart.

4-week class meets on Tuesdays: April 5, April 12, April 19, April 26
Time: 7-9 p.m.
