CloseListen in to guest speaker Danny Silk, of Loving On Purpose, as he shares how to get past the world’s lens of who the Father is and truly operate under the new covenant. After the fall of Adam and Eve, we often hear of the old covenant that was broken, and Jesus restored humanity with a new covenant. If we're going to operate in the new covenant though, we have to be transformed in our minds. Otherwise, you can't tell a group of Christians on social media apart from a group of political people on social media. Until Jesus came, you could not see the Father. You could only see the perverted version of the Father. Jesus didn't come to show people the church. Jesus also didn't come to show people salvation. Jesus didn't lead anybody to Jesus. He came to show the world the Father through love. This love casts out all fear, but being disconnected in a broken world, especially during this season of our country, makes a place for fear to come and be your counselor. The spirit of fear would love to be your counselor and to pervert what you see about yourself, how you see other people, and how you see your Father. And this is the epic battle that we're in. A battle between good and evil, love and fear. Therefore, it’s important to understand how to operate in this new covenant with the correct understanding of the Father. This doesn’t work without repentance though, which will be covered in the next session.
