Strengthen Yourself in the Lord
Listen in to Pastor Joaquin Evans, Senior Leader of Bethel Austin, talk about what it means to stir yourself up and be strengthened in the Lord. In John 10:10, it talks about how the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to give life and life more abundantly. And we’ve talked about how both of those things can happen simultaneously. But the question is, which one of those are we focusing on? At the same time the enemy is trying to steal your joy, he's trying to rob your faith. He's trying to destroy your outlook and your hope. At the same time, Jesus is actually releasing life. He's releasing abundance, and He's releasing breakthrough. He's releasing increases. We just have to learn what to focus on. Because God hasn’t called you to just hang on by a thread. He hasn’t called you just to maintain… He’s called you to be more than a conqueror. He’s called you to be the head and not the tail.
