CloseListen to Pastor Eddie Tait, Associate Leader of Bethel Austin, as he encourages us to respond to God’s invitation for intimacy.
What does it look like to have intimacy with the father? Have we postured ourselves to engage with the face of God allowing the Lord to get close enough to change our hearts for intimacy? Keeping our minds off of other distractions around us and our focus on him, allows us to tune in to what he is speaking.
Most of us are trying to overcome some obstacle in our lives, allowing the release of freedom. You can't think yourself into freedom, but you can submit yourself and be swept away by the river of God, into a place of complete freedom. Giving us the glorious sanctification that comes from being in his presence. There is an expectation in our hearts to receive the fullness of what he is going to do in our lives right now.
The Lord doesn't worry about my concerns or my fears and my limitations. I'm so thankful for a Jesus that doesn't think about my religious limitations, my religious expectations and thoughts, but one that comes to free me fully. He comes to wash me clean and to show me the fullness of my identity in him.
