This specific outreach was promoted by a dream from a Bethel Austin leader’s mom. In the dream, her mom was fishing and not catching any fish. Someone showed up in the boat and said the spot to catch lots of fish was in Colton, Texas.
She doesn’t live in Texas, nor is she familiar with the land here. She shared the dream and it turns out that Colton is 5 minutes from our church. Our outreach team decided to begin going into that area during Saturday outreach.
We felt led to go to a flea market in that area. We found many of the words of knowledge that Holy Spirit had given us beforehand. Many people were healed, great seeds of truth were planted, and two people gave their lives to Jesus!!
A favorite testimony from the outreach was right as we were about to leave and get into our cars, we noticed a group walking up and one person was limping. We got out and began to chat.
A lady named Amy needed healing on her knee so we prayed and Jesus healed it on the spot! We then began to talk to her about the Lord and she was ready to surrender her life to Him. Right before we prayed she shared that her mom, Gloria, needed a miracle and was in the hospital with a heart issue.
Both names, Amy and Gloria, were on the lists that Holy Spirit gave us beforehand! As well as heart conditions and knee pain. She was so happy to know how much God cared for her and that He sent us there to encounter her and that we were given words about her and her mom beforehand.
That specific lady was not supposed to be there that day. She had not gone to work and came there instead which is a two hour drive for her. Her daughter and friend got to hear the gospel as well and had a great talk and prayer with one of our team members.
