What was the situation like before?
One weekend in May, I went to a service at Bethel Austin before leaving for the summer. One thing they called out that evening was nerve damage/unknown nerve damage and the person calling it out didn’t know exactly what it meant. I knew afterwards that God was just protecting me because it was something that embarrassed me.
I had unknown nerve damage from a surgery that I had on October 13, 2021. The nerves were cut and there was some type of damage that affected the bladder muscle which created leakage. Prior to this surgery, I had a repair surgery and prior to that I had an emergency full hysterectomy and my bladder has been different since that time. The cut that was made to my lower abdominal area was too deep, according to my medical doctor, which resulted in numbness in that area.
What did God do?
I stood up for prayer and hands were placed on me. There were many things that I stood up for and I got temporal relief in some areas and one thing completely and miraculously healed on the spot. I got up after that because worship and prayer were over and I needed to go to the bathroom. When I went to the bathroom I immediately noticed that I did not have any leakage.
A lot of the numbness around the cut is leaving which seems more in process while this initial leakage issue was instantly.
What is the situation like now?
Since that night, there’s been no leakage! I am no longer embarrassed and can go places and feel free without concern that it will happen. The muscle in my bladder also seems stronger.
I was even so embarrassed to share the testimony and I thought it wasn’t necessary. God is faithful and it was His perfect timing right before a summer road trip across America. I was able to travel around 1/2 of America for 3 months and not have one issue. My nerves are still becoming tingly and I can feel more where you could have poked me with a pin and felt nothing.
Also, my self esteem is better because that was embarrassing and hard to live with.
