My name is Shannon, we are members of Bethel Austin. About a week ago, my husband Ed got a sense of calamity. We asked Holy Spirit what we needed to do about it. Holy Spirit said to just pray because it would come but it would not affect us. Ed had been praying all week against calamity. Well… it came. First, there were layoffs at Ed’s company. He was not affected in any way. Then we had a fire last night. We woke up to all the alarms in the house going off at 3:30am. I got the girls out and called 911 while Ed found the fire and started attacking it with fire extinguishers. It was in the garage. The smoke was so thick, you could not see or breath. It was a grease fire that got to some wood in the garage. The smell was horrendous. It was very, very frightening. But get this!!!!! When the fire was out and the smoke cleared, there was NO DAMAGE!! There is ash everywhere, but the only things that were burnt were trash that we hadn’t taken out yet. The fire was right next to our car and a bunch of tools, and nothing is burned! We swept out the only things that were burned of the trash. We are absolutely in awe of Gods power! The firemen were amazed and confused.
