Jim Evans, one of Bethel Austin’s pastors, recently took a team to the maximum-security prison in Huntsville Texas.
They had amazing God encounters at the Wynne Unit in Huntsville, TX prison. Here are some additional testimonies from September 2022
1. 2 men received their sight!! One was blind in his right eye. The other was blind in both.
Jesus healed them both.
Reports are that the man who was blind in both began to share his testimony throughout the prison very effectively due to the fact that everyone knew he had been blind and was now healed. Charlie Owens said that his testimony resulted in his class size doubling!
2. The other that stands out was the “Wow Wow” man. His left knee had been in pain for some time. After prayer all the pain left and he could bend it and put pressure on it that he hadn’t been able to before. When interviewed all he could say was “Wow Wow Wow!”

Charlie Ownes posted this report from Huntsville: A team from Bethel Austin went into the Ellis Unit this morning with Jesus, and look what he did!!!//33 healed at Huntsville Prison including metal plates & bullets dissolving out of atheists hip//Wow wow wow!! Today was wild! God healed 8 of arthritis, a bunch of teeth, 6 backs, and at the very end 7 came up to have metal dissolved by Jesus. Two bullets dissolved in a wrist/hand and a hip! Then another man had knee metal disappear as well as a whole plate dissolving out of a lower leg! The best part is the one of the bullets that dissolved was in a atheist body band after he decided to give his life to Jesus !!! I pray as the Bethel Redding Missions team goes on the 19th that they see 7 fold while there!!
