Joaquin Evans was one of the speakers at the Seek First conference in February 2024, which was hosted by Oak City Church in Birmingham, Alabama. The testimony below is from a woman who was healed at the conference.
“For the last few months, I had been believing that the Lord would heal me from gluten/dairy allergies and sickness. All weekend during Seek First, I contended for this healing in agreement with my best friend, Kinsey, and the Lord healed me! And not only did He heal me in a miracle moment, He has sustained the healing! I have gotten to eat real food for the first time in eight years.
“Also, for my entire life, I have only been able to breathe out of the right side of my nose due to a deviated septum. It has affected my breathing, my sleeping, my ability to run, and countless other things. I used to have panic attacks when doing extreme hiking or running because I couldn’t get enough oxygen in my body. Before Seek First, the Father whispered to me that He was going to heal my nose and breathing.
“And last weekend, Joaquin Evans was announcing things He felt the Lord moving in. When he said deviated septum, my faith multiplied that: 1) I hear the Father well; 2) His goodness is for all areas of my life; and 3) He is Healer! I was being prayed over, I placed my hand under my nose and for the first time in my entire life (23 years) I felt air out of both sides of my nose! I had never felt my lungs so full of air, so full of life. It was incredible. I truly haven’t stopped taking the deepest breaths since.”
