What was the situation like before?

My niece who is 26, unmarried and in between jobs told my brother and sister-in-law that she was two months pregnant. My brother shared with me. I was angry that she and the father of the baby had been irresponsible. This kind of situation has not happened before in my family. I could not let go of the anger I felt.

What did God do?

At the Bethel service 6/3/2023, during worship; one of the worship leaders felt that we should surrender all to God. As I did so, my anger evaporated and it was replaced by the love of the Father. I could not do this on my own, it was His precious gift.

What is the situation like now?

I was able to give my niece a hug the following day at a graduation celebration and say “hi Mommy!” I would not have been able to do that the day before. Judgement and anger was replaced by love. It may not be an easy road for my niece and my family, but it will be firmly in the loving arms and control of the King of Kings who works all things together for good. Thank You, Father Son and Holy Spirit. Praise You! You alone have given me grace to love and extend the kingdom to my niece and her child and the child’s father! Thank You for Your unfailing love!
