What was the situation like before?
At camp meeting at church, this man came up to me and said, “I feel like I just saw this picture of you walking with the Lord and you had a Rubik’s cube that you kept solving part way and then you’d get stuck and hand it back to the Lord and he would help you. And it was this process of back and forth. I feel like there’s been this thing with the Lord that you’ve been trying to solve forever. And the Lord says that 2022 is the year to solve it”. What this man didn’t know was that at that time I was sitting in the crowd kind of not arguing with the Lord, but you know, having a passionate discussion about things like, the promises of the gospel, the breakthrough I’ve seen in the past and kind of like what’s happening. I’ve just had this real level of dissatisfaction. I’m thankful for what’s happening, but I know what’s available and I’ve read the promise and I’ve tasted in part.
What did God do?
So, there’s been this Rubik’s cube that’s in my spirit saying, “Hey, this is what your word says. This is what I’ve read about. This is part of what I’ve seen.” And I’m not going to settle for anything less. Kind of like David Hogan’s testimony: He was like, “no, God, I’m not going to go preach the gospel. Because where are the men and women that change the world?” Like I’m not going to do it, I don’t want to play church. I don’t care about bake sales.
What is the situation like now?
That was where I was continuing, but the man, he came right up and started reading it and he’s like “2022 is the year of breakthrough”. So, I mean, this is the community that I’m in. And I feel like it’s for everybody.
